The New York Soloist and Sima - Jerry’s ultimate trumpets. They are ultimate in both meanings of the word: ultimate as in last great creations. And also his finest, his ultimate trumpets. During Jerry’s long and prolific career, he created a number other designs that significantly advanced trumpet performance in their own time: his initial New York made in conjunction with Getzen, plus his own Soloist, Grand Prix, Jazz, and Superchops trumpets.

And when Jerome first retired he was quite pleased with his advancements, as were thousands of trumpet players around the world. Yet he knew he could do better. And Jerry’s closest friends knew this itched at him. More to come, please return soon …..
